Tuscany Dental Care is built on our staff, our people. As we’ve grown, we’ve retained and added the best so you get the best, most comfortable care anywhere in San Antonio.
Chris was first introduced to dentistry in high school as a dental assistant, and now has 35 years practicing as a dental hygienist! She has recently returned to the United States after 12 years of living and working in Germany. While most of her experience is in private practice, she is proud to have been able to provide dental hygiene care to the US Armed Forces and their families while in Germany, where she also served on the board of the European Association of Registered Dental Hygienists. She is married and has one adult daughter. In her spare time she enjoys counted cross-stitch and renovating her new home.
Sheena came to Tuscany Dental Care by way of New Orleans. She moved with her family to Corpus Christi and pursued her degree in cosmetology. She has never worked in the dental field and is a quick study. Her experience managing a salon has enhanced her scheduling skills that are so needed when she is making appointments for checkups and exams for our hygienists. Her contagious laugh and welcoming personality has won over our patients.
When Sheena is not working in our front office, she is busy with her first passion, “HAIR”, by taking care of friends, family and coworkers. She is married to Johnny.
Hanh has been with TDC since she graduated from University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio’s Hygiene School in 2006 and she offers eight years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She prides herself on her knowledge of good oral health practices and she has helped many of our patients develop and maintain beautiful smiles with her knowledge. As an accomplished classical pianist, she uses the precise hands of a master when she provides hygienic services.
Outside of work, Hanh takes pride in her husband and young son, enjoys sewing, cooking her mother’s delicious recipes, and making greeting cards. She also loves chick flicks, but says that thanks to her hubby, she catches some pretty good action movies, too. Hanh also enjoys Chinese chess, tennis, and playing classical piano.
Latisha came to us straight out of Dental Assisting School. She graduated from San Antonio Dental Assistant School. After a few years teaching preschool, she decided it was time for a career change and dental assisting seemed to be the perfect career move. She loves working with our team at Tuscany Dental Care and the continuing education she receives from being chairside with Dr. Duque.
When Latisha is not working with our team, she is devoted to her husband and three children. Her two daughters and son keep her extremely busy with their activities with church, preparing for high school, junior high and elementary school and visiting family in Oklahoma.
