Dr. Nancy Duque is a Midwesterner by birth and arrived in Texas in 2008. She attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate and for dental school, graduating in 1986. She is a die-hard Wolverines fan and enjoys watching them play football and basketball.
Prior to coming to Texas, she practiced in Chicago and Indianapolis and taught part time at the University of Illinois Dental School and Northwestern University Dental School.
She attends multiple hours of continuing education in dentistry every year and is a member of the San Antonio Dental Study Club. She also volunteers at the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic which is part of the Haven for Hope campus.
Outside of the office, Dr. Duque goes on “GWALFS” excursions with her college friends, fosters puppies for ADL, is active with Sonterra’s business networking group and is a social member of the country club.
Dr. Duque is married to Tony, who is an avid inventor and is passionate about cooking. They have a 15 year old daughter, Margot, who attends the Basis Shavano charter school and performs in plays at the Woodlawn Theater. She also has 2 dogs, Lexi and Roxy. In her spare time, she enjoys managing Margot’s extracurricular activities and decorating her home.
